How to generate Ruby code for Shopify Script Editor app?
Step 1: First, you must choose a script types. You have 3 options:
- Line Item: Line item scripts can be used for various item discounts (eg: BOGO (Buy one, get one), tiered discount, percent discount), limit item quantities, remove items from the cart, and reject discount codes.
- Shipping: Shipping scripts can be used to reorder, rename, discount, and remove shipping rates.
- Payment: Payment scripts can be used to reorder, rename, and remove payment methods.
Step 2: Click Add campaign to start.
Step 3: Please fill out the necessary information for the Campaign detail
Step 4: Click Save to create the new campaign.
Step 5: Click Generate script to generate script code to paste into the Script Editor app
Step 6: Copy the code and paste into a new script in the Script Editor app. Be sure to create the proper script based on the type that you selected.
