How to Create a YouTube Video Gallery Page in Shopify
I’ve written an article to guide you on how to embed a YouTube video gallery anywhere on your Shopify store. In this article, I will also guide you to create a Youtube video page but in a different way. Let’s started!
I would like to introduce a new Shopify app called Hura Theme Blocks. You can use the app blocks in Hura Theme Blocks to make beautiful layouts in the Online Store 2.0 theme. The app doesn’t change the liquid code for your theme or leave any code behind. You can use the app blocks in the Shopify Theme Editor after you have installed the app.
We will this Shopify app to create a YouTube video gallery page on your Shopify store.
Follow the steps below to learn how to do that.
- Go to Shopify App Store, find the Hura Theme Blocks app, then install it.
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes
- Find the live theme you want and then click on the Customize
- In the Customize page, let’s choose the Pages.
- Choose to Create template to create a new page template
- Set a name for this page template (eg: youtube-video-gallery). Choosing Based on is the Default page. Click on Create template button to submit.
- For the new page template, click on the Add section
- Scroll to the Apps section
- You should see the all blocks provided by Hura Theme Blocks
- Add a Youtube Video Gallery block, then add the video for your gallery and you also can configure your page.
- Click Save and you have created a Youtube video gallery page template successfully.
- Go back Online Store and go to Pages
- Create a new page and set the theme template to be the youtube-video-gallery for it.
- Click Save and you are done.
